Fight over playing time at junior football practice involves gunfire

Tuesday September 9th, 2014

One man's complaint about his son's playing time at a junior football league practice in Wichita, Kansas, on Monday night set off a fight that included multiple gun shots, according to the Associated Press.

After the man complained, six men began punching the coach of the team, with one wielding a gun and another brass knuckles.

The wife of the coach then fired a gunshot into the air, and police said the coach retrieved a gun from his car and used it to threaten his attackers.

Police came and took possession of both guns. The men fled and no arrests were made.
