Baylor quarterback Bryce Petty will start Friday's game against Buffalo after missing one game with a back injury.
Petty was forced to leave Baylor's 45-0 season-opening win over SMU after cracking two bones in his spine and didn't play last Saturday against Northwestern State. He went 13-for-23 for 161 yards and two touchdowns in one half against the Mustangs.
Wide receivers Antwan Goodley and Corey Coleman, who also missed the game against Northwestern State, are expected to remain out against Buffalo.
