Toledo starting defensive tackle Marquise Moore will have season-ending surgery for a torn ligament in his foot, reports BCSN TV.

The school has yet to announce the injury, but Moore sent out a tweet Wednesday saying he will miss the remainder of the season.

Reports: Oklahoma St. QB J.W. Walsh has surgery, could miss season

Moore is the third Toledo starter to be lost for the season. Starting quarterback Phillip Ely tore his right ACL during the Rockets' loss last Saturday, and starting cornerback Cam Cole tore his in the season opener.

Moore started nine games for Toledo in 2013 and both of the Rockets first two games this season.

Toledo is 1-1 on the season and faces Cincinnati on Friday.
