Will Sunderland, a safety from Midwest City, Okla., announced Saturday that he has verbally committed to Oklahoma.

Sunderland, who also drew scholarship offers from Arkansas, Ohio State and Oklahoma State, among other programs, is the No. 8 safety and No. 138 player in the class of 2015, according to rankings on the recruiting website Rivals.com.

The 6-foot-2, 186-pounder is the 12th player in the class of 2015 to verbally commit to the Sooners.

Oklahoma's 2015 recruiting class is now ranked No. 30 in the country by Rivals.com.
