Iowa State offensive lineman Jacob Gannon has rejoined the team after stepping away earlier this month for "personal reasons," the school announced on Monday.
In a statement, Gannon said he is being treated for anxiety.
“I have been recently diagnosed with anxiety. I am receiving treatment for my condition and I am looking forward to being a part of the football team. I want to thank Coach Rhoads and my teammates for their support.”
Gannon started eight games last season and is a three-year letter winner.
