Auburn suspended starting safety Jermaine Whitehead for violating team rules and will not play in the Tigers game against 20th-ranked Kansas State on Thursday.
Whitehead, who is a three-year starter, did not make the trip for Auburn’s game against 20th-ranked Kansas State on Thursday night.
ESPN.com reported that Whitehead is suspended for being disrespectful to a coach.
Whitehead has 12 total tackles in two games this season and leads Auburn with two interceptions, including a pick-six in the team’s opener against Arkansas.
