Missouri and Connecticut football have finalized an agreement to play a home-and-home series in 2015 and 2017.
The two teams have never faced each other. UConn will travel to Missouri on Sept. 19, 2015, and Missouri will play at UConn on Sept. 23, 2017.
“It’s fun to bring new opponents into Columbia for our fans, and this is a program that’s had a high level of success in the past decade. One of the most challenging aspects of conference realignment has involved football scheduling, and reconstructing things after we moved to the SEC," said Missouri executive associate athletic director Bryan Maggard.
The Tigers are 3-0 this season and currently ranked No. 18 in the AP poll. The Huskies are 1-2 and have played in five bowl games during the last 10 seasons.
