NEW YORK (AP) Mike Nebrich threw for 435 yards and matched a career best with four touchdowns as Fordham rolled over Columbia 49-7 on Saturday.

The Rams (3-1) racked up 635 yards of offense with Nebrich completing 32 of 48 passes and touchdown strikes to Dan Light, Chase Edmonds and a pair to Tebucky Jones.

Columbia, playing in its season opener, was held to 165 yards offense and avoided a shutout when Brett Nottingham found John Hunton for a 29-yard scoring pass in the final 25 seconds. The Lions have lost 12 straight, dating back to the final game of 2012.

Fordham scored twice in the opening quarter when Mike Marando kicked field goals of 24 and 46 yards, the latter preserving a 13-play drive that covered just 46 yards.

Nebrich opened the throttle on the first drive in the second quarter, completing seven passes and adding a short run to drive Fordham 87 yards in 10 plays with a TD and 2-point conversion pass to Light.
