Alabama coach Nick Saban said quarterback Blake Sims suffered a bruised right shoulder in Saturday's 42-21 win over Florida.

Sims left the game in the third quarter after absorbing a hit on a running play but returned later in the quarter.

Sims finished the game 23-of-33 for 445 yards -- the second-most in program history -- and four touchdowns against one interception.

The injury is not expected to force Sims to miss any games.

The Crimson Tide (4-0), ranked No. 3 in the latest AP Poll, have a bye next weekend before playing at Ole Miss.
