Week 3: Kansas 24, Central Michigan 10
In a 24-10 win over Central Michigan last weekend, Montrell Cozart finished with 226 yards passing, two touchdowns, and one interception. Tony Pierson finished with 77 yards and one score on three carries, Jimmay Mundine was the leading receiver with 67 yards on six catches.
Week 2: Duke 41, Kansas 3
The Jayhawks suffered their first defeat of the season, a 41-3 loss to Duke. Cozart threw for 89 yards and two interceptions. Corey Avery was the team's leading rusher with 87 yards on 16 carries, while De'Andre Mann led the receivers with one catch for 36 yards.
Week 1: Kansas 34, Southeast Missouri 28
The Jayhawks scored 24 points in the first quarter on their way to defeating Southeast Missouri 34-28. Cozart led the team through the air, finishing 12-for-24 for 196 yards at three touchdowns; De'Andre Mann carried 15 times for 121 yards. Kansas converted on each of their four trips to the red zone.

Week 3: UCLA 20, Texas 17
Texas suffered their second loss in a row, falling to UCLA, 20-17. Tyrone Swoopes threw for 196 yards and two touchdowns. Malcolm Brown rushed for 69 yards on 14 carries, and Jaxon Shipley added 65 receiving yards on nine catches.
Week 2: BYU 41, Texas 7
Texas was defeated by BYU, 41-7. Swoopes finished with 176 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Johnathan Gray was the Longhorns' leading rusher with 47 yards on 14 carries. The Longhorns gained 258 total yards on offense.
Week 1: Texas 38, North Texas 7
The Longhorns held North Texas scoreless for the first three quarters, ending the game with a 38-7 victory. Brown rushed 13 times for 65 yards and contributed 2 touchdowns. Quarterback David Ash went 19-for-34 for 190 yards and one touchdown.
