CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) Eastern Kentucky ran its record to 5-0 for just the ninth time in program history as the Colonels blanked Austin Peay, 31-0 on Saturday night.

Eastern Kentucky held the Governors to 190 yards of total offense and kept them penned in their own end of the field for all but three plays in the first half.

Austin Peay put together an 87-yard drive in the second half, but was stopped at the Eastern Kentucky 1 on fourth down.

Bennie Coney paced the Colonels (5-0, 2-0 Ohio Valley), completing 15 of 24 passes for 146 yards and a touchdown. Dy'Shawn Mobley had 55 yards on 10 carries for a touchdown as they rolled up 180 yards on the ground.

Mickey Macius was held to 53 yards passing, connecting on 11 of 22 attempts and the Governors (0-5, 0-2 OVC) were held to just 105 yards rushing.
