Keaton Torre, a quarterback from Edmond, Okla., announced Saturday that he has verbally committed to Louisville.

Torre is the No. 7 pro-style quarterback and No. 112 player in the class of 2016, according to rankings on the recruiting website Rivals.com.

The 6-foot-2, 183-pounder is considered one of the most highly touted prospects to pledge to the Cardinals since Bobby Petrino began his second stint as Louisville's head coach in January 2014.

Torre, who joins three-star defensive back Baylen Buchanan as the second player in the class of 2016 to commit to the Cardinals, also reportedly drew interest from Baylor, Auburn, Oklahoma and TCU, among several other programs.
