09/27: Texas A&M 35, Arkansas 28 (OT)
Texas A&M fought back from a 28-14 deficit in the third quarter to beat Arkansas in overtime. In the win, Kenny Hill threw for 386 yards with four touchdowns and one interception. Wide receiver Edward Pope caught four passes for 151 yards. Two of those four catches were for touchdowns.
09/20: Texas A&M 58, SMU 6
After topping SMU, the Aggies were off to their first 4-0 start since 2006. Wide receiver Jeremy Tabuyo had touchdown catches of 30 yards and 50 yards. Quarterback Kenny Hill averaged 12 yards per attempt in throwing for 265 yards and two touchdown passes.
09/13: Texas A&M 38, Rice 10
The Aggies were outgained 481-477. Defensive end Myles Garrett had 2.5 sacks, giving him 5.5 for the season, which is already a school freshman record. Hill became the first player in school history to throw for 1,000 yards in the first three games of a season.
09/06: Texas A&M 73, Lamar 3
Kenny Hill threw for 283 yards and four touchdowns before being pulled due to the lopsided nature of the game. In relief of Hill, backup quarterback Kenny Allen threw for 122 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. The Aggies combined for 225 rushing yards. Texas A&M held Lamar to 243 total yards.
08/30: Texas A&M 52, South Carolina 28
In his first game as the starting quarterback, Hill threw for a school-record 511 passing yards. Texas A&M's 680 total yards were the most South Carolina has given up in school history. The Aggies were successful on 12 of 17 third-down conversions.
09/20: Mississippi State 34, LSU 29
Mississippi State pulled off a stunning win in Death Valley. In the Bulldogs' victory, Dak Prescott threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns. He also added in 105 yards on 22 carries and another score on the ground. Wide receiver Jameon Lewis finished the game with 116 yards on five catches with a score. At the start of the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs were up 34-10.
09/13: Mississippi State 35, South Alabama 3
The Bulldogs earned an easy win over South Alabama. Dak Prescott threw for 201 yards and one touchdown. He also went ofr over 100 yards on the ground again, finishing up with 139 yards on 14 carries. Overall on the afternoon, Mississippi State finished with 514 yards of total offense in the win.
09/06: Mississippi State 47, UAB 34
Mississippi State held off a scrappy UAB team for the win in its second contest of the season. Dak Prescott finished the game with 211 yards through the air and four touchdowns. He added 111 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Running back Josh Robinson was the top performer out of the backfield with 124 yards on 20 carries.
08/30: Mississippi State 49, Southern Miss 0
The Bulldogs opened up their season with a convincing win over the Eagles. Dak Prescott threw for 284 yards and four touchdowns. Josh Robinson led the way on the ground with 87 yards on 14 carries. On the afternoon, Mississippi State racked up 550 yards of total offense.
