Monday October 6th, 2014

Notre Dame added a home game for the 2017 season against Miami, Ohio, Miami announced on Monday.

The game will be played Sept. 30, 2017.

Notre Dame’s schedule that season includes games against Temple on Sept. 2 to be played at a yet-determined neutral site and Georgia, which will be played in South Bend on Sept. 9.

Miami, which just broke a 21-game losing streak by defeating Massachusetts on Saturday, has non-conference games in 2017 against Marshall and Cincinnati.

Miami (OH) and Notre Dame have played just one time in football, a 46-0 victory by Notre Dame in 1909.

The Fighting Irish (5-0) are ranked sixth this week after a 17-14 victory over Stanford. They play North Carolina on Saturday. The Redhawks (1-5, 1-1 MAC) have a home date against Akron on Saturday.
