Syracuse quarterback Terrel Hunt will miss four to six weeks after fracturing his fibula in the fourth quarter of a loss to Louisville last Friday.

Over five games this season, Hunt, a redshirt junior, has completed 83 of his 145 pass attempts for 983 yards with one touchdown and four interceptions while adding a team-high 307 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the ground. Redshirt freshman Austin Wilson replaced Hunt on Friday.

The Orange host undefeated (and top-ranked) Florida State next Saturday, followed by games at Wake Forest (Oct. 18) and Clemson (Oct. 25) and a home date with North Carolina State (Nov. 1). Syracuse is 2-3 this season with wins over Villanova and Central Michigan and losses to Maryland, Notre Dame and Louisville.
