Rutgers Scarlet Knights vs. Ohio State Buckeyes
Prior to their bye in Week 7, the Rutgers Scarlet Knights won three consecutive games to improve to 5-1 on the season. On Saturday, Rutgers will travel to Columbus to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes, who have also won three straight games and boast a 4-1 overall mark.

10/04: Rutgers 26, Michigan 24
Quarterback Gary Nova threw for a career-high 404 yards and completed three touchdown passes in the victory. Rutgers outgained Michigan by a 476-336 margin. Rutgers' win gave Michigan its first 0-2 Big Ten start since 1967.
09/27: Rutgers 31, Tulane 6
Rutgers produced 462 yards of total offense, including 171 yards on the ground. Desmon Peoples led the team in rushing with 83 yards on 21 carries. The Rutgers defense held Tulane to just 3-for-15 on third down with 13 first downs in the game.
09/20: Rutgers 31, Navy 24
The Rutgers defense held Navy to only 171 rushing yards while controlling possession of the ball for more than 35 minutes. Running back Justin Goodwin led the offense with 104 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries. Gary Nova completed 11 of 14 passes for 151 yards.
09/13: Penn State 13, Rutgers 10
Penn State scored 13 unanswered points in the second half to defeat Rutgers in their Big Ten debut. The Scarlet Knights committed five costly turnovers in the game. Gary Nova completed only 15 of 30 pass attempts, including five interceptions with no touchdowns.
09/06: Rutgers 38, Howard 25
Rutgers was outgained by Howard 427-397 in the game, but the Bison committed 11 penalties and two turnovers. Gary Nova completed four touchdown passes on 19 pass attempts. Paul James produced touchdown catches of 69 and 31 yards and one 7-yard touchdown run.
08/28: Rutgers 41, Washington State 38
The Scarlet Knights scored 17 points in the fourth quarter for a comeback victory. Paul James keyed the offense on the ground, gaining 173 yards on 29 carries to go along with three touchdown runs. Washington State was held to just six yards rushing.
10/04: Ohio State 52, Maryland 24
Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett threw for 267 yards and four touchdowns on 23 pass attempts to spoil Maryland's Big Ten home debut. The Buckeyes gained 533 yards of total offense without committing a turnover. Ohio State's defense created four takeaways and held the Terrapins to just 66 yards rushing.
09/27: Ohio State 50, Cincinnati 28
The Buckeyes amassed 710 yards of total offense in a convincing victory. J.T. Barrett completed 26 of 36 pass attempts for 330 yards and four passing touchdowns and also rushed for 79 yards on 14 carries. Ohio State did not force a turnover defensively, but the Bucks limited Cincinnati to just 70 yards rushing.
09/13: Ohio State 66, Kent State 0
J.T. Barrett tied an Ohio State record with six passing touchdowns while compiling 312 passing yards on 30 pass attempts. Running back Curtis Samuel gained 100 yards on 15 carries, including two touchdowns, and the Buckeyes outgained the Golden Flashes by a margin of 628-126.
09/06: Virginia Tech 35, Ohio State 21
The Buckeyes trailed by a 21-7 margin at halftime and were unable to complete a comeback in the second half. Ohio State committed three turnovers in the game and was just 4-for-16 in converting third downs. J.T. Barrett completed just nine of his 29 pass attempts.
08/30: Ohio State 34, Navy 17
Ohio State defeated Navy for their 25th consecutive victory during the regular season. No Buckeyes player attempted more than 12 rushes in the game, but as a team, Ohio State combined for 194 yards and a touchdown on the ground, while the defense also produced a touchdown on a 61-yard fumble return by Darron Lee.
