Baylor Bears starting right tackle Troy Baker has a torn ACL, and the senior's college football career is over. Baker is the second member of Baylor's offensive line to go down recently.
Baker is the second member of Baylor's offensive line to be lost for the season in the past three days. On Friday, it was announced that starting right guard Desmine Hilliard is out for the season after having wrist surgery.
Baker started all 13 games as a sophomore, earning All Big 12 honorable mention from coaches. After sustaining a knee injury, he missed the first two games last season but played in 10 overall. In 2014, he was named preseason All-Big 12 by Athlon (second team) and Phil Steele (fourth team).
Sophomore Jason Osei is Baker's listed backup.
The Bears lost for the first time this season on Saturday in a 41-27 defeat to West Virginia on the road.
Feel like I've said this before but thank you to all of my teammates, coaches, staff, family & everyone for the prayers. (cont...)— Troy Baker (@T_Baker75) October 18, 2014
