Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops indicated that he expects running back Keith Ford to practice on Monday.

Ford has not played since breaking his fibula in the Sooners' Sept. 13 win over Tennessee. At the time, he led the Sooners with 34 carries, 194 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.

With Ford sidelined, Samaje Perine has emerged as Oklahoma's top back. The true freshman recorded 242 yards on 34 carries in the Sooners' Sept 20 win over West Virginia and has rushed for 657 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season. Sophomore Alex Ross has added 276 yards on 45 carries.

Oklahoma, which has gone 2-2 with wins over West Virginia and Texas and losses to TCU and Kansas State since Ford's injury, currently ranks third in the Big 12 in rushing yards per attempt.

The Sooners (5-2, 2-2 Big 12) play at Iowa State on Saturday.
