Utah leading receiver Dres Anderson to miss rest of season with knee injury

Utah Utes leading wide receiver Dres Anderson will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury, according to the Salt Lake Tribune

Anderson is a team captain and caught 22 passes for 355 yards and four touchdowns this season. He was honorable mention All-Pac-12 last season and has 2,077 career receiving yards, which ranks fifth in school history.

Anderson, a senior, redshirted his freshman year and is ineligible for an NCAA medical hardship waiver since he played in seven games this season. 

The Utes next leading receiver is Kenneth Scott, who has three touchdowns across 252 receiving yards this season.

No. 17 Utah is coming off a 24-21 win over USC last weekend and has won three in a row. The Utes (6-1) play No. 14 Arizona State (6-1) on Saturday.
