Auburn WR D'haquille Williams helped off with apparent knee injury

Auburn wide receiver D'haquille Williams was helped off the field by trainers in the second quarter of Saturday's game against Texas A&M after sustaining an apparent injury to his right knee.

He reportedly will not return to the game.

Williams, who appeared to suffer the injury while trying to make a catch, sat on the sidelines icing the knee with a towel over his head and walked to the locker room on crutches.

The junior college transfer leads the Tigers with 37 receptions for 598 yards and five touchdowns this season.

Auburn (7-1, 4-1 SEC) entered Saturday ranked No. 3 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings.
