Florida defensive tackle Leon Orr will not play in Saturday's game at Vanderbilt, according to a report from the Gators' official website.

Orr returned to Gainesville, Fla., on a bus after learning that he would not be a starter for the fifth consecutive game, the report says.

Even though he wasn't slated to start, Orr reportedly was expected to be "heavily involved," in the Gators' game plan.

Orr "expressed displeasure" when he found out he wouldn't line up with the first team, the report says.

"He was more concerned with starting than being part of the team,'' Florida coach Will Muschamp said.

Orr has started two of Florida's seven games this season. The redshirt senior has started 10 games and appeared in 37 over three-plus seasons with the Gators.

Florida (4-3, 3-3 SEC) ranks second in the SEC in rush defense.
