Four-star offensive lineman recruit Emanuel McGirt has committed to N.C. State, McGirt told 247 Sports' Ryan Bartow on Wednesday night.

McGirt selected the Wolfpack over offers from programs such as LSU, Florida and Georgia, among others. He had committed to North Carolina in June but re-opened his recruitment in early September.

The Durham, N.C., native is ranked the No. 15 offensive tackle and No. 150 overall recruit in the class of 2015 by 247 Sports.

"It's close to home," McGirt told Bartow. "I can play there early and they're getting a lot of the best players from in-state to stay there."
