After Clemson shut out Georgia State to move to 8-3 on the season, Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney faced questions about his future in Death Valley.

With the head-coaching vacancy in Florida looming large, Swinney unsurprisingly faced questions about his interest in remaining at Clemson for the long term. Swinney is in his seventh year at Clemson, and his fourth straight with at least eight wins.

Florida coach Will Muschamp will finish out the season in Gainesville, so the Gators' job isn't open quite yet. At the same time, Swinney never flat-out denied interest in the Florida job, instead saying as quoted above, "I'm not going to stand here and be one of these coaches that goes, 'I will never leave Clemson.' That's not genuine. I have no idea."

Clemson (8-3, 6-2 ACC) trails Florida State in the ACC entering the regular season's final weekend. The Tigers host South Carolina next weekend before bowl season.
