Members of the Ohio State football team will wear stickers on their helmets Saturday honoring defensive lineman Kosta Karageorge, who was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Sunday.

The Buckeyes will wear stickers with his No. 53 when they play Wisconsin in the Big Ten championship game in Indianapolis. There are also plans for a moment of silence before the game, according to the Associated Press

Karageorge was reported missing early on the morning of Nov. 26. Before he went missing, he reportedly sent a text message to his mother which read, "I am sorry if I am an embarrassment but these concussions have my head all f----- up." His body was found four days later in a dumpster, along with a gun, police said.

Karageorge, 22, joined the team as a walk-on at the start of this season. He had previously been on the wrestling team at OSU, winning 35 matches as a senior last season.

The Buckeyes attended Karageorge's funeral in Columbus on Wednesday morning. He will be buried on Thursday in Athens, Ohio
