Four-star running back Antonio Williams commits to Wisconsin

Four-star 2016 running back Antonio Williams has committed to Wisconsin, he announced on Thursday. 

Williams is ranked as the No. 9 running back in the Class of 2016 and the No. 4 player from North Carolina, according to

The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Williams chose the Badgers over offers from Auburn, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Georgia and others.

According to Jon McNamara of, Williams plans to enroll early at Wisconsin. 

Williams is the first commitment to the Badgers 2016 recruiting class. Wisconsin's 2015 class is ranked No. 28 in the country and contains one four-star recruit and 16 three-stars.

The Badgers went 10-2 this season and won the Big Ten West. They face Ohio State in the Big Ten championship game on Saturday.
