Twitter has revealed the most-followed College Football Playoff teams by county, and Oregon and Alabama appear to be the most popular teams.

Oregon dominates the West Coast and also has representation on the other side of the country in Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

Alabama has a firm grasp on the southeast and can also claim counties in California and Washington.

Defending national champion Florida State and Ohio State each have strong regional support, but much more sporadic followings across the country.
