Ole Miss running back I'Tavius Mathers is transferring from the Rebels, according to The Daily News Journal.

Mathers, a 5-foot-11, 190-pound junior from Murfreesboro, Tenn., will have one year of eligibility remaining, but will have to sit out a season if he transfers to another FBS school.

Mathers had 67 carries for 290 yards and three touchdowns this season, one year after he led the Rebels with 563 rushing yards. Jaylen Walton, another junior running back for Ole Miss, led the Rebels with 586 rushing yards. Freshman Jordan Wilkins rushed 52 times for 361 yards and a touchdown.

In the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl, Mathers led Ole Miss with 26 rushing yards in a 42-3 loss to TCU. He finishes his career with 198 carries for 1,061 yards and seven rushing touchdowns, plus 18 catches for 141 yards.

Mathers is the second running back to transfer from Ole Miss this week, as sophomore Mark Dodson is reportedly heading to Memphis.
