Tulane assistant Keith Williams to coach Nebraska receivers

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) Tulane receivers coach Keith Williams has been hired for the same position at Nebraska.

Cornhuskers coach Mike Riley announced Wednesday that the addition of Williams completes his coaching staff. Riley was hired last month to replace the fired Bo Pelini.

Williams spent the past three seasons coaching Tulane's receivers and also serving as out-of-state recruiting coordinator. He said he's thankful for the opportunity to join Riley's staff.

Williams also has worked at Fresno State, San Jose State and two junior colleges. He spent 2008 with the San Diego Chargers in a minority internship coaching position.
