Thursday February 26th, 2015

The San Francisco 49ers will bid to host either the 2018, 2019 or 2020 College Football Playoff title game at Levi's Stadium, the Associated Press reports.

Bids for the 2018 through 2020 title games are due in May. Decisions are expected to be announced in the fall.

The inaugural national title game was played at the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium in January. The next two games will be played at the Arizona Cardinals' University of Phoenix Stadium in 2016 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Raymond James Stadium in 2017.
