Campus Clicks: Art of overreacting, cash flow directory, Tinder at Florida, Hawaii's Haka dance
Welcome to Campus Clicks, a special daily feature on the new Campus Rush. Every weekday morning we'll bring you links, pictures and videos from across the web. This will be very much like SI.com's popular Hot Clicks, only tailored for the college audience.
Don't Freak Out!
The sports world loves to lose its mind and overreact early in the season, especially in college sports (see: Braxton Miller's injury supposedly ending Ohio State's season before it started, or the Buckeyes' loss to Virginia Tech ending it again). Therefore, let's be proactive in fighting this infectious trend with a look at the Week 1 games that have the greatest potential for overreaction.
Speaking of Week 1 freak outs, Michigan fans should avoid Lost Lettermen's piece on what went down at the Big House eight years ago.
Much has been made of cost of attendance in college athletics, with athletic departments now allowed to distribute additional payments to student-athletes to cover items associated with attending college. CBS Sports has created a FBS cost of attendance database that shows how much dough each program is distributing to its football players. You can compare that to Business Insider's nifty map of the most expensive college in each state.
