Wednesday September 2nd, 2015

The Kansas Jayhawks have dismissed cornerback Matthew Boateng from the team, according to KUsports.com.

The exact reason for the dismissal was not disclosed.

“Matthew has been dismissed from our program for a violation of team rules,” Kansas coach David Beaty said in a statement. “We wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Boateng was listed second on the Jayhawks depth chart at cornerback. Senior Ronnie Davis and redshirt Colin Spencer could now see their roles increase with Boateng gone.
