After a 12–2 season that ended in a College Football Playoff semifinal loss to Ohio State, Alabama kicks off its 2015 season against Wisconsin in Arlington, TexasESPN’s College GameDay will be in tow, lending the game even more hype.

Alabama, which ranked No. 5 in's preseason poll, was picked by SEC media to win the SEC West, though Auburn is picked to win the conference championship.

Wisconsin finished 11–3 last season and won its first bowl game since 2009 when it knocked off Auburn 34–31 in the Outback Bowl. The Badgers return junior running back Corey Clement, who is a likely breakout candidate, and senior quarterback Joel Stave, who returns as the team's starter.
