The Virginia Cavaliers travel to Pasadena, Calif. to open their season against the UCLA Bruins at 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX.

UCLA returns 18 starters from last season's 10-3 team, including defensive dynamo Myles Jack and Pac-12 leading rusher Paul Perkins. The Bruins must contend with the departures of starting quarterback Brett Hundley and Butkus Award-winning linebacker Eric Kendricks this season.

Virginia went 5-7 last season while facing the 21st-toughest schedule in the country. Five of the Cavaliers' seven losses came by eight or fewer points in 2014. Virginia returns 44 players and 12 starters this year, and will face 10 teams that went to bowl games last season.
