DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) Cary Littlejohn rushed for a career-high 193 yards and a touchdown and Catawba beat Davidson 35-21 Saturday night.

Catawba, a Division II school 36 miles from Davidson, has beaten the FCS Wildcats in their last five meetings, including last season.

Mike Sheehan completed 12 of 24 passes for 168 yards and a touchdown, though he threw two interceptions. He also ran for a score.

Sheehan's 49-yard TD pass to Bruce Smith put Catawba up 35-14 in the final seconds of the third quarter.

Littlejohn gave Catawba its first touchdown with a 64-yard run before Jeff Keil tied it for Davidson with a 21-yard run. Eamon Smart gave the Indians the lead for good 15-7, following his 32-yard run and Catawba's 2-point conversion.

Keil rushed for 121 yards on 19 carries and two touchdowns. John Cook threw to William Morris for another score.

Chad Hollandsworth kicked a pair of Catawba field goals.
