After a smooth Week 1 victory over UTEP, Arkansas will look to build a non-conference winning streak in Week 2 against Toledo on Saturday.

The Razorbacks defeated the Miners 48–13, scoring 28 points in the first half and later building a 45–10 lead. Quarterback Brandon Allen went 14-of-18 for 308 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions, syncing up with wide receiver Keon Hatcher on six receptions for 106 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Alex Collins also rushed 12 times for 127 yards and one touchdown.

Arkansas’s defense limited UTEP to 204 yards. On offense, Arkansas gained 490 yards and went 5-of-11 on third down.

Toledo’s season opener against Stony Brook was canceled on Sept. 3 due to severe weather. The teams kicked off, but the first half lasted three hours after weather delays. Following a shortened halftime, the game was stopped just before the third-quarter kickoff. Toledo lead 16–7, but the game will officially be listed as “no contest” and stats will not be counted.

Saturday’s game will be played at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Ark., instead of the Razorbacks’ Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville.
