Ole Miss and Alabama meet on Saturday night to open their respective SEC schedules. Both teams come in 2–0 and looking to make a splash in the SEC West.

No. 15 Ole Miss has scored 70-plus points in consecutive weeks on non-conference opponents UT-Martin and Fresno State, but will face its first true test in Alabama's defense. Rebels quarterback Chad Kelly has been impressive, throwing for six touchdowns and just one interception, and a committee approach on the ground has gained 553 combined yards and scored nine times already.

The No. 2-ranked Crimson Tide are the favorites after wins over Wisconsin and Middle Tennessee. Running back Derrick Henry will lead the offense after racking up 243 yards and six touchdowns in his first two games. Alabama's kicker, Adam Griffith, is 0-4 on field goal attempts this season, which could be a factor if the game stays close.
