How to watch Northwestern vs. Duke.
Wildcats freshman quarterback Clayton Thorson threw his first career touchdown pass during Northwestern's 41–0 win against Eastern Illinois last Saturday. Thorson also ran for another score, finishing the game 11 of 16 for 152 yards. Northwestern's 41-point win over Eastern Illinois marked the Wildcats' widest margin of victory in a shutout since 1970.
Duke also trampled its opponent last Saturday, defeating North Carolina Central 55–0 at home. Quarterback Thomas Sirk recorded a career-high 315 passing yards and had four touchdowns. The Blue Devils' offense scored on six straight possessions and finished with 655 total yards.
