Hawaii enters Saturday 1–1 after losing its opener to Ohio State and bouncing back for a 28–20 win over Colorado. Max Wittek went for 202 yards and three touchdowns through the air, with two interceptions, in what was a very passing-driven game for the Rainbow Warriors.

The Aggies of UC Davis are 0–2 after dropping their last contest to Nevada. Quarterback Ben Scott was a bright spot, completing 32 of 47 passes for 238 yards and a score.
