Berrios back for unbeaten Hurricanes after knee scare

CORAL GABLES, Fla. (AP) Miami expects to get receiver Braxton Berrios back from a left knee injury when the Hurricanes face Cincinnati on Thursday.

Berrios was injured on the team's first possession of the season against Bethune-Cookman on Sept. 6, but has been cleared to play as Miami (3-0) visits Cincinnati (2-2) in the Hurricane's final non-league test before entering Atlantic Coast Conference play.

Berrios practiced Sunday without any limitations.

His return comes at a good time for Miami, which will be without receiver Stacy Coley against the Bearcats. Coley is still dealing with a nagging hamstring injury, and Miami's hope is to have him back for the ACC opener on Oct. 10 at Florida State.
