COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) Linebacker Kentrell Brothers, who leads the nation in tackles, is questionable for Missouri's Southeastern Conference matchup with South Carolina Saturday after spraining his left ankle.

Brothers, who has 52 tackles through four games, was injured in the Tigers' 21-13 loss to Kentucky last Saturday.

The Tigers (3-1, 0-1 SEC) are dealing with several key injuries this week heading into their showdown with the Gamecocks (2-2, 0-2).

Tight end Sean Culkin sprained his right knee against Kentucky and is expected to miss at least two weeks.

Tackle Nate Crawford is out with a left ankle injury. Taylor Chappell will start at right tackle in place of the injured Crawford, and Brad McNulty will fill Chappell's spot at left guard.

Team captain Ian Simon is listed as probable after sustaining a head injury against Kentucky. Simon landed on his head after breaking up a pass and sat out the rest of the game.
