Arizona State unveils new ‘Desert Hammer’ uniforms

Monday September 28th, 2015

Arizona State football unveiled its new “Be the Hammer” Adidas uniforms on Monday.

The Sun Devils will debut their new uniforms against UCLA on Saturday at 7:30 p.m ET.

Arizona State is off to a 2–2 start to the season following their 42–14 loss to USC last weekend. The Sun Devils wore “Desert Ice” uniforms in their home opener against Texas A&M

Among the latest changes to the uniforms is a switch from copper-striped white helmets to a darker charcoal-colored helmet. The jerseys feature a similar color scheme.

The team's undershirt will feature the Arizona State's hammer, which is used to break rocks in the locker room after wins.

Another alternate uniform could be in store for the team's game against Oregon on Oct. 29.
