Campus Clicks: Another crazy weekend; punters take the spotlight
Another Wacky Weekend
Before we get into the craziness that was Week 4, we have some horrifying news out of Kentucky: Joseph Kraemer, a defensive end for Eastern Kentucky passed away after a weekend car crash. Be sure to keep Kraemer, his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers this week.
The wacky week spotlighted the Pac-12 after dark, which included the Arizona schools getting embarrassed on their home turf by UCLA and USC, respectively. Utah's trouncing of Oregon dropped the Ducks out of the AP Top 25 after 98 straight appearances. Is head coach Mark Helfrich the person to blame for their struggles in 2015? Another title contender, TCU might have survived in Lubbock on a miracle game-winning touchdown but their defense was putrid, leading SI's Chris Johnson to wonder if the Horned Frogs can keep winning all season.
And during the circus-like weekend, it was only appropriate that the Ohio State band put on an unreal circus-themed halftime show.
Although Texas fans might not agree with that statement, Utah fans definitely do, especially after this very entertaining sequence during their win over Oregon. Punter Tom Hackett hit the SkyCam wire, was given a re-punt and then turned it into a first down after a spectacular one-handed grab on a poor snap.
Butch Jones was blasted for not attempting a two-point conversion when the Vols scored a touchdown to go up 26–14 in the fourth quarter against Florida. They kicked the extra point to give them a 27–14 lead before Florida engineered a comeback and won 28–27. Jones gave his explanation for not going for two and it does not make much sense.
USA! USA! USA!
The University of Arkansas and Arkansas State both received grants to study terrorism.
Did you know that TCU ran 113 plays in their 55–52 victory over Texas Tech? Here are 24 other staggering numbers from College Football Week 4.
Tough Times in Austin
It's no secret that Texas fans aren't thrilled with the state of the Longhorns football program and this photo of Darrell K. Royal Stadium 15 minutes before kickoff on Saturday tells the sad story. Yes, UT fans are known to be late arrivers and eventually filled most of the stadium but it was still a depressing sight. And this play by freshman punter Michael Dickson led to Oklahoma State's game-winning field goal.

During their upset bid against TCU, many Texas Tech fans were flashing back to the Red Raiders' dramatic victory over Texas from 2008. Remember Michael Crabtree's game-winning touchdown with one second left in that game?
