Indiana suspends starting defensive tackle Darius Latham indefinitely

Wednesday September 30th, 2015

Indiana has indefinitely suspended starting defensive tackle Darius Latham.

The team announced the decision in a release Tuesday. Latham has been suspended "immediately and indefinitely from competition with the football team pending the resolution of a proceeding with Indiana University Office of Student Ethics." There were no further details provided and the school said it would have no further comment until the process ends.

Latham was suspended for Indiana's season opener Sept. 5 against Southern Illinois. In the past three games, he's recorded 10 tackles and two sacks. He leads the team with five tackles for loss.

Indiana (4–0) plays No. 1 Ohio State (4–0) in the two teams' Big Ten opener on Saturday.
