Michigan State left tackle Jack Conklin will not play Saturday against Purdue due to a left knee injury, coach Mark Dantonio told reporters.

He wouldn’t discuss specifics, other than that the ailment wouldn’t end Conklin’s season.

The junior All-America candidate has started 31 of 32 games for the No. 2 Spartans during his time on campus.

Michigan State is also without starting right tackle Kodi Kieler, cornerback Vayante Copeland and linebacker Ed Davis because of injury.
