LSU running back Leonard Fournette continued his run of dominance on Saturday, rushing for an 85-yard touchdown during the third quarter of the school’s game against South Carolina.
The sophomore took the ball at the LSU 8-yard-line on 2nd-and-7, ran up the middle past the line of scrimmage at the 13, and dodged three defenders before breaking away for the score.
The run put Fournette over the 1,000 yard mark for the season in just his fifth game.
It also gave the No. 7 Tigers a 24–10 lead over the Gamecocks.
Fournette has rushed for over 150 yards on the day.
