Monday October 12th, 2015

The BYU Cougars will host the Cincinnati Bearcats at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Friday night.

BYU (4–2) is coming of a 45–38 victory over East Carolina last week. The Cougars allowed the Pirates to score 17 straight points to tie the score in the fourth quarter, but a nine–yard rushing touchdown from Algernon Brown gave BYU the lead with 19 seconds left in the game. Quarterback Tanner Mangum completed 24 of 33 passes, throwing for 332 yards and three touchdowns.

The Bearcats had a bye week in Week 6 and should be well rested as they travel to Utah. Cincinnati is 3–2 after defeating Miami 34–23 on Oct. 1. Redshirt freshman quarterback Hayden Moore was 22 for 33, throwing for 279 yards and two touchdowns.
