Four-star defensive end recruit Antonneous Clayton of Vienna picks Florida.

Four-star defensive end recruit Antonneous Clayton of Vienna, GA announced his commitment to the Florida Gators on Wednesday morning.

“Had a great ride and I wanna [sic] thank all coaches for recruiting, but I decided to commit to university of Florida,” he posted on Twitter.

Clayton is the top ranked weakside defensive end in the Class of 2016, according to Rivals.

Clayton chose Florida over offers from Alabama, Auburn and Florida State.

The Gators' 2016 recruiting class now includes defensive ends JaQuan Bailey of Jacksonville Raines, Eric Mitchell of Miami Central and Clayton. The recruiting class also includes four-star cornerback Chauncey Gardner, who is ranked 51st overall in the class.

Clayton’s recruitment brings the Gators upcoming class to 21 commitments.
