Golson, a graduate transfer from Notre Dame, started the first seven games but missed the Oct. 31 contest against Syracuse due to a concussion. He was benched for last Saturday's game against Clemson.

Sean Maguire started the past two games for the 19th-ranked Seminoles (7-2, 5-2 ACC, No. 16 CFP. He threw for 348 yards and three touchdowns against Syracuse but was 16 of 29 for 164 yards and an interception against Clemson.
Golson has completed 67.1 percent of his passes, which is second in the ACC and 13th nationally, with 11 touchdowns and an interception.
