Louisiana-Monroe fires head coach Todd Berry

Sunday November 15th, 2015

ULM has fired head coach Todd Berry, a source confirmed to SI’s Thayer Evans.

Adam Hunsucker of the News-Star first reported the news. Defensive line coach John Mumford will reportedly take over as interim head coach.

ULM lost 59–21 to Arkansas State on Saturday, its eighth straight. The Warhawks fell to 1–9 overall and 0–6 in the Sun Belt.

Berry, 55, went 28–43 at ULM, where he began as head coach in 2010 after three seasons as offensive coordinator at UNLV. He managed just one winning season, in 2012, when the Warhawks went 8–5 and went to the Independence Bowl.
