Notre Dame running back C.J. Prosise will not play against Wake Forest.
Josh Adams started at running back for the Fighting Irish against the Demon Deacons.
Prosise was injured during last week’s game against Pittsburgh. He left the game in the first quarter and underwent the concussion protocol after sustaining a hard hit against the ground.
Prosise, a senior, has run the ball 148 times for 975 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. He’s added 25 receptions for 291 yards and a score.
The 8–1 Fighting Irish entered Saturday No. 4 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
